Most of the time, buyers don’t pay their agent’s commission — sellers typically covers this cost. However, in today’s market there are situations where a seller may choose not to pay all (or any) of the buyer’s agent commission. In those cases, the buyer may be responsible for part or all of their agent’s fee.
My standard commission for buyer representation is 2.5%*.
Before you ever sign anything, I’ll walk you through exactly how commissions are structured for the homes you’re interested in. You’ll know upfront whether the seller is covering the full commission, a portion, or none— no surprises at closing.
The benefit: You get expert negotiation, financial clarity, and house hacking strategies that help you make the right move — often saving more than the cost of my commission.
